Traffic Case Records in Campbell County
LaFollette, Jacksboro, Caryville, Jellico, and Rocky Top each keep a municipal traffic route. Campbell General Sessions or another county court may hold a matter assigned there under state law or reached through appeal. The city or county named on the citation is therefore the first search fact. A municipal ticket may never appear in Campbell's county portal, whose visible court choices are Circuit and General Sessions and whose case choices are Criminal and Civil.
A traffic court record can show the citation or charge, setting, plea, motions, continuances, disposition, judgment, costs, and orders. The issuing municipal clerk or county clerk maintains that file. Keep the citation even after a payment or transfer, and ask for a new county reference if a city clerk says the case moved.
Five Campbell Traffic Court Channels
Campbell County has no uniform city-ticket screen. LaFollette and Caryville use separate nCourt pages. Jacksboro directs questions to the recorder at 585 Main Street, 423-562-9312. Jellico Municipal Court uses its clerk at 410 South Main Street, 423-784-3798. Rocky Top directs City Court questions to City Hall at 195 South Main Street, 865-426-2838.
The official LaFollette contact page separates citation inquiries from City Court.

Call the listed citation line at 423-563-0720 or City Court at 423-563-0721 when an online screen does not answer whether an appearance is required.
Campbell County Traffic Ticket Lookups
Read the summons or citation first. Note the issuing city or county court, citation number, date, and appearance instructions. The research did not verify a Campbell traffic lookup by name and birth date, so do not rely on that method. Caryville's screen visibly requests Citation Number and has an Enter Reason dropdown whose choices were not exposed. LaFollette's indexed nCourt page visibly has a citation field.
- Identify the issuing court and copy the citation number exactly.
- Use the verified city portal when LaFollette or Caryville issued it.
- Call the court clerk when no city form exists or the ticket is not found.
- Visit or send a specific written request if the clerk requires it.
- Confirm the next setting, current total, response deadline, and appearance rule.
Caryville Citation Number Search
The Caryville nCourt form identifies Caryville City Court and exposes Citation Number plus Enter Reason.

The dropdown options, complete docket, document images, and contest workflow were not visible. Treat the form as a lookup and payment layer, then call 423-562-9478 about an appearance, school request, contest, or certified copy.
LaFollette's nCourt route similarly exposes a citation entry path.

Neither payment page proves that a contested-case request has been made or that a full court history is available.
Traffic Court Dates in Campbell County
The citation or summons is the primary case-specific date source. A portal may repeat it, but a later order or clerk-confirmed reset can control. Rocky Top expressly tells readers that the exact date and time appear on the summons. For every city, ask the clerk for the next active setting and whether the older date was continued or disposed.
| Citation Number | Use the exact citation number; no single countywide format was published |
|---|---|
| Court | Confirm the issuing municipal court or county venue |
| Date & Time | Read the current citation, notice, or later court order |
| Location | Verify the city or county court address before travel |
| Status | Ask whether the matter is pending, paid, continued, or disposed |
Rocky Top Traffic Calendar
The official Rocky Top City Court page says City Court meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall.

That general calendar does not replace the date printed on a specific summons. Rocky Top also has a separate second-Thursday Administrative Hearing Officer calendar for covered building and property matters.
The official city directory lists the court clerk contact.

Use 865-426-2838 when the notice does not clearly identify which of the two calendars applies.
Paying a Ticket vs Fighting It
Online payment does not prove that a contest, deferred disposition, or not-guilty plea was entered. Before paying, ask whether payment waives a hearing and closes the case. To contest, follow the citation's appearance or plea instructions and appear unless the issuing court confirms another authorized method. No single Campbell County deadline applies across all cities.
| Paying the Ticket | Contesting the Ticket |
|---|---|
| Ask what plea and disposition payment records | Ask how to enter the response and obtain a hearing |
| Use the citation or later court notice deadline | Use the citation or clerk-confirmed appearance deadline |
| Use only a route accepted by the issuing court | Appear or use another method the court authorizes |
Missed Court Date: Call the issuing court at once. Local lists mention added failure-to-appear costs, but no current countywide amount, warrant process, or license-action rule was verified.
Jacksboro Traffic Record Route
Jacksboro has no verified public citation portal. Its recorder and court route is the direct starting point for a town citation. The official recorder page supplies the contact information.

Call 423-562-9312 and identify Jacksboro City Court at the start. Ask for the next setting, disposition, balance, public copy choices, and any new county reference if the matter was appealed.
Two Records: Court File and Driver File
These are separate records held by separate custodians. The court file answers what was charged, set, filed, ordered, and disposed. The Tennessee driver-services agency maintains the state driver record under its own rules. One office cannot certify the other's file.
| Court Traffic Record | Driver Record | |
|---|---|---|
| Kept By | Issuing municipal or county court clerk | Tennessee driver-services agency |
| Shows | Citation, setting, plea, disposition, judgment, costs | State motor-vehicle and license information |
| How to Get It | Court lookup or specific clerk request | State driver-record request under agency rules |
Campbell Traffic School Questions
Caryville's published schedule includes a traffic-school court-cost line. It does not publish the current eligibility test, approved course, deadline, dismissal effect, or application steps. No countywide defensive-driving or deferred-disposition policy was found. Ask the issuing court before paying, because a payment may alter the options still available.
Published LaFollette and Caryville lists are snapshots rather than current clerk quotes. Do not borrow their terms for Jacksboro, Jellico, Rocky Top, or a county-court case. Each issuing court controls its own current process and order.
Jellico Clerk-First Traffic Search
Jellico has a municipal docket but no verified public citation or payment portal. AOC and MTAS directories identify Brenda Creekmore as Municipal Court Clerk at 410 South Main Street, Jellico, TN 37762, with phone 423-784-3798 and email jellicomunicipalcourt@gmail.com. The city charter assigns court-record and docket custody to the recorder, while its municipal code addresses ordinance proceedings, warrants, summonses, subpoenas, bonds, appeals, and costs.
Start with the citation number and date. Ask whether the matter remains on the Jellico municipal docket, what the next active setting is, and whether the clerk can supply a plain or certified copy. A written request should name the exact record rather than ask the clerk to compile an explanation. Do not use Campbell's county Form 1 unless Jellico confirms it is the correct municipal process.
If the case was appealed, ask for the receiving county court and new reference. The city code supports an appeal path, but it does not publish a current fine, contest deadline, failure-to-appear amount, or online-payment option. Those are clerk questions, not facts to borrow from another city.
Campbell Traffic Record Request Script
A useful request names the issuing court, gives the citation number and issue date, and asks for four separate items: the next setting, disposition, balance, and public copy options. Then ask whether certification is available and what it costs. Those facts may live in different screens or paper files, so a single question about “the ticket” can produce an incomplete response.
If the clerk reports a county appeal, record both the original citation and new case number. A municipal clerk can certify the city file, while the Campbell Circuit Court Clerk can identify a later county case. Neither should be expected to certify the other's record. For a city citation absent from Campbell's online index, direct city contact is the supported route rather than repeated Criminal-filter searches.
No official Campbell red-light or speed-camera portal was found. No municipal sample register was available for safe field inspection. Use blank forms, public office contacts, and the citation itself without publishing private names, payment details, or case identifiers.
Traffic Record Copy Fees
No uniform Campbell County traffic-copy price was verified. Caryville and LaFollette publish fine-list snapshots, but those are not certified-record fee schedules. Ask the issuing clerk for the current case total, court costs, online fee, inspection rule, plain-copy price, and certification charge.
| Item | Fee | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Plain traffic case copy | Not published countywide | Ask the issuing clerk |
| Certified traffic record | Not published countywide | State the exact order or docket needed |
| Fine and court costs | Varies by venue and case | Confirm the current total before payment |
| Online convenience fee | Confirm on current screen | Separate from the court record copy |
